L Tracks Installation Guide

Follow along with the video below for step-by-step instructions on installing your Sleepy Time Tracks L Tracks. For the best light blocking, position the tracks as close to your shade as possible while still allowing the shade to operate freely.

Before You Begin

Make sure your window surface is clean and dry. Before removing any adhesive backing, position your L-Tracks along both sides of the shade to confirm the fit and placement.

Installation Tips

• Test-fit first. Position both L-Tracks before attaching them permanently.
• Keep the tracks close to the shade. Slightly touching the shade is ideal for blocking the most light, as long as the shade still raises and lowers freely.
• Trim if needed. L-Tracks can be cut to length using utility scissors or tin snips.
• Check operation before finishing. Raise and lower the shade to make sure everything operates smoothly.
